Oral Presentation

The oral presentaions will be given in the meeting room at the 2nd floor of the Sakura Hall. The time allocated to each contributed talk is 15min and that to each invited talk is 45min. These include questions and discussion. The LCD projector is built-in on the meeting room.

Poster Presentation

Poster boards will be set up on the 1st floor of the Sakura hall from Monday 12:10 to Tuesday 18:00. Poster presenters may put up their posters during those times. We ask poster presenters stand by at their posters during the Tuesday poster session 16:00-17:30. All the posters should be taken off by Tuesday 18:00. The size for each poster board is large enough to post a paper of 84cm (width) x 120cm (height)(= "A0"-size).

Registration Desk

Registration desk at the 2nd floor of the Sakura Hall will be open from September 26 (Mon.) 09:40.

Wireless Network

The Sakura Hall provides wireless network connection (around 50 people can use it at the same time) for our participants. Details will be announced during the workshop.

Dining

There is a cafeteria and a restaurant in the Katahira campus, both in the same building at the North exit of the campus [MAP]. The Katahira campus is within walking distance from the city center and you can find many different types of restaurant around the Katahira campus with a reasonable price.

Workshop Banquet

The banquet is held on Wednesday, the 28 of September from 18:30-20:30 at the 1st floor of the Sakura Hall. We ask the banquet participants to pay the banquet fee at the reception desk BEFORE THE BANQUET. The fee will be 5000 JPY for faculty members and posdocs (doctorate holders), and 3000 JPY for undergraduate and graduate students including JSPS DC1, DC2 fellows. Please have exact fee ready. ONLY CASH PAYMENT IS ACCEPTED.

Information on earthquakes and radiation level

If you are concerned with aftershocks (how frequently aftershocks occur at what magnitudes etc.), check out the Japan Meteorological Agency website.
