Name: Shigeo S. KIMURA (木村成生)

I am an assistant professor at Frontier Research Institute for Interdisciplinary Sciences and Astronomical Institute, Tohoku University. I study high-energy astrophysical phenomena, including non-thermal processes in black hole accretion flows and active galactic nuclei, electromagnetic and neutrino radiations from gravitational wave sources, microphysics of particle acceleartion, origin of cosmic rays and astrophysical neutrinos. I also study star & planet formation, especially the dynamics of protoplanetary disks.
